SINGLE DENTAL IMPLANTS TREATMENT STEPS
INITIAL CONSULTATION:
Meet your implant surgeon, discuss treatment options, and receive a personalised plan with costs. Any necessary preparatory work or CT scans will be arranged.
IMPLANT PLACEMENT:
The implant is placed and the gum sealed to allow integration with the bone. Any temporary teeth can still be worn during this stage.
TWO WEEK REVIEW:
2 weeks later, we will check on the healing of the implant and remove any stitches.
SECOND STAGE (3-6 months later):
The implant is exposed and a small metal abutment is placed on top, making the implant visible above the gum. You can continue wearing any temporary teeth during this stage.
DIGITAL RECORDS:
2 weeks later, we take digital records inside the mouth of the exact position of the implant and these are sent to a lab for the crown to be made.
CROWN FIT:
The custom-made implant crown is fitted and secured onto the implant. The fit, bite and appearance will be checked and adjusted as needed to ensure comfort and a natural look.
We strongly recommend a review 6 months after the implant is fitted and then 6 to 12 monthly reviews thereafter, to monitor the implant and bone levels.
