Dr. Maria Mak qualified in dentistry from the University of Manchester in 1990. She went on to achieve her Master of Science degree in Advanced Restorative Dentistry also from the University of Manchester in 1996.
Dr. Mak has a wealth of experience in providing Advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. Her particular interest is in modern veneers and crowns, especially in relation to the new generation of aesthetic, natural-looking, all-porcelain restorative systems. She also an experienced Invisalign Doctor. Her refined clinical skills, combined with a gentle, holistic approach, ensures that our patients enjoy consistently high standards of cosmetic restorative
treatment and pain-free dental care.
As well as being a General Dental Practitioner, Dr. Mak holds a part-time clinical teaching post at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences at King’s College London. She is also fluent in Chinese (Cantonese).
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mak enjoys conducting breeding and wetland bird surveys. She is also an ‘A’ permit bird ringer with the British Trust for Ornithology.
